Treatments - IMSI

IMSI, which stands for the intracytoplasmic injection of morphologically-selected spermatozoa, permits the real time selection of  morphologically normal spermatozoa using a high-magnification microscope. Numerous publications indicate that this sperm preselection can make a significant contribution to the success of ICSI techniques. This technique is useful In cases of severe teratozoospermia, where high levels of sperm DNA fragmentation are encountered and also in idiopathic infertility.
